Salute to Ron Erhardt

The Steeler Face salutes Ron Erhardt who passed away this week at age 80.  Erhardt was the first offensive coordinator to serve under Coach Bill Cowher, hobbling along the Steelers sideline with a stern expression from the 1992 season through Pittsburgh's run to Super Bowl XXX.  Erhadt was a steady believer in the run, and should be credited for Barry Foster's 1,690 rushing yard explosion in 1992 (without which Foster never would have never become an action figure).
