Steelers v. Titans game forecast: Beware of the trap game . . .

The Steelers have a short week to prepare for the Titans before they travel to Tennessee for a Thursday night contest, which means the Steeler Face has a short turnaround for this game forecast.  Pittsburgh (2-2) is coming off a hard fought must-win game at home against the Eagles, while the Titans (1-4) are reeling from consecutive poundings on the road.  At the same time, the Steeler Face is coming off a road trip to Athens, Ohio and a visit to his old haunt, Lucky's, where he relived some bad years in Steeler history.  Thus, the magic cuss ball says: "beware of the trap game . . ."

Troy Polamalu and LaMarr Woodley are out for Pittsburgh, while James Harrison and Rashard Mendenhall are still in.  The Steeler Face is hopeful that Harrison will continue to inspire Lawrence Timmons and Ziggy Who? to pressure opposing QBs like they did Michael Vick.  At the same time, "Maniac" Mendenhall should give the Steelers running game a much needed jolt for the second week in a row.  That said, the magic cussball is still worried abut the plethora of stooooooooooooopid penalties, which have frustrated Pittsburgh through the first four weeks of the season.

Last year when the Titans visited Pittsburgh, Big Ben torched Tennessee for 5 TDs and Jonathan Dwyer rushed for over 100 yards in a 38-17 win.  I don't think the Steelers will make it that easy this year, but I Pittsburgh should pull out a weird one by a score in the neighborhood of 18-14.  The Steeler Face is 1-3 in game forecasts on the year and 11-9 all-time.
