Steeler Face denies trade rumors: "I'm a Steeler fan for life . . . even through this crappy season"

Rather than enjoying the Steelers' win--a rare occurrence this season--the Steeler Face spent Sunday evening vigorously denying rumors that he has asked Steeler Nation for a trade.

"This is complete f@cking bullshit.  Seriously?!" said the Steeler Face while throwing back an uncharacteristic third Iron City after the Steelers 23-10 win at home against the Buffalo Bills.  "Can't I just enjoy this little blip of happiness in this f@ck-all season?  Really?  What's wrong with you people?" he added.

Nonetheless, his post-game tone, and lack of game posts the past two weeks has continued to fan speculation that he is tired of being a Steeler fan, and may wish to follow the Gotham City Rogues franchise.

The Steeler Face retorted: "That's not even a real franchise you f@cktards!"

However, the Steeler Face has not sported a Steeler jersey the past four weeks and has been posting pictures on social media of himself in a Gotham City Rogues t-shirt.

"The Steelers are 3-1 when I wear that shirt this year, and 0-5 otherwise, and d@mnit!  Why I am trying to explain this to you?  You're the same morons that think Big Ben is going to be traded"

Trade rumors also swirled today around Steelers QB Ben Roethlisberger after winning his 100th game for Pittsburgh.  Reports have surfaced that Big Ben is unhappy with the direction of the franchise, especially on the heals of back-to-back frustrating losses (21-18 in Oakland and 55-31 in New England).  Roethlisberger and Art Rooney II (in a surprising move of late to do something that made sense) quickly denied those rumors.

However, Rooney II had no comment about a potential departure by the Steeler Face.  One report has suggested that the Steeler Face will be following the Arizona Cardinals next year, and thus, reuniting with a team he followed briefly as a child.

"Oh, for crying out loud and moaning in pain?!"-- the Steeler Face said.  "That was when they were in St. Louis and . . . never mind."

Another report indicated that Steeler Nation will trade the Steeler Face to Cincinnati (where he currently resides) during the offseason for James Harrison and and a bowl of Skyline chili.

"That's not even possible.  You people suck," the Steeler Face muttered before passing out.
