Hall of Shame: Bus left parked outside for third straight year

Warren F. Sapp . . . a first ballot Hall of Famer . . . and Jerome Bettis, the only retired-eligible running back in the Top 10 on the NFL's all-time rushing yards list NOT in the Hall of Fame . . . misses out for the third year in a row . . . wha-WHAT?!  Marshal Faulk, who is 10th on the NFL's all-time rushing yards list was a first ballot Hall of Famer -- and Jerome Bettis is 6th on the list -- and misses out for the third year in a row . . .

"Dear Hall of Fame Election Committee, what you've just said by your vote today is one of the most insanely idiotic things we have ever heard.  At no point in your rambling, incoherent process were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought.  Everyone who is an NFL fan is now dumber for having heard it.  You suck.  And may God have mercy on your soul."
-- Steeler Nation, 2013

The NFL's All-Time Rushing Yards Leaders:

1. Emmitt Smith: 18,355
2. Walter Payton: 16,726
3. Barry Sanders: 15,269
4. Curtis Martin: 14,101
5. LaDanian Tomlinson: 13,684
6. Jerome Bettis: 13,662
7. Eric Dickerson: 13,259
8. Tony Dorsett: 12,739
9. Jim Brown, 12,312
10. Marshall Faulk: 12,279

You want to be even more ticked off?  Bettis is a 6-time pro-bowler and is tied for 10th on the NFL's all-time rushing touchdowns list with . . .  Franco Harris . . . and to think, we still have to suffer through the 49ers/Ravens Super Bowl tomorrow . . . ready, set, BARF!

As for the NFL Hall of Fame in Canton -- I will boycott it until Jerome Bettis is rightfully enshrined.
